Great tape here. Hardpack tapes are always good. First heard of Hardpack via Dj Marioka and the tape blogs he runs. There's a lot of people in the studio for the tape, different DJs and different MCs join in at different times

Steve Spliff is the Dj and it's hosted by Josie Wales. 'Showtime' from Harlem, as I have mentioned before was a crew consisting of the above mentioned artists, Jae Mo Ice (AKA Lethal Weapon) and a bunch more. I wish we knew more about who was in it and the history behind it! From what I understand, Josie Wales seems to have passed away sometime after this tape, as many early 90s Showtime tapes contain R.I.P shout outs for him.

Now, the bad news - the first 11 minutes of Side B is missing, it got taped over by a Ron G WBLS show, which you can find here if you want.

Dj Showtime is also J Mo Ice / Jaemo Ice / THE LETHAL WEAPON ON THE MIX. A favourite Dj of mine, and definitely a great host.

Curious as to who Dj Showtime was, I asked Tapemastah who shared this - "Showtime was was a crew of djs feat J MO ICE & others.."

We like to learn things on Grime and Lime, so if anyone ever has any information on a tape/Dj, please share it!
