I ripped this tape back in 2014, I think I was using a Denon tape deck at that point. Every tape deck has a finite life, as soon as the belt snaps you might as well get a new one. My current tape deck is the 3rd one I've bought since starting the website.
Also, suspiciously this tape instantly completed the upload to Mediafire, which means its uploaded already. Not sure if I gave this tape to another site to post, or I just forgot to upload it in the past

I don't know much about PHAT FLAVAS aside from it being a record shop. Listening to the tape, on LA Luv's birthday shout-out to G Smooth, LA mentions how "THE STRANGERS" are no longer beefing PHAT FLAVAS
THE BAD NEWS - After about 10 minutes on Side A, the quality takes a noticeable dip. I've left the A side completely raw, so if you think you can reduce the bass without making it sound worse, please try. I'll upload your effort. Weirdly there are parts after the dip where it sounds OK. See what you think
Side B sounds absolutely fine though, so don't miss out on that at least

EDIT : Turns out I have another copy, and that one has a cover. Also, it's Dj Lamarck and Dj Ire (?). Not sure if Ire is a typo, as a Dj Irie appears on a tape I've posted previously. But as that tape is a heavy rotation.de all star tape, which really is a world away from what you see here, I can't be sure they're the same person
