This tape is 30 years old this month. E Brothers tapes are always good, I have a few. Not sure why I've posted so few

  1. This is a crazy tape! They don't make 'em like this anymore.

  2. I agree, this is a nice tape. E Brothers combine some of the standard mixtape hits of the time (Run D.M.C. ft Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth - Down With The King, Apache ft Nikki D - Who Freaked Who, Onyx - Slam) with some lesser played jams like Mobb Deep - Hit It From The Back, Masta Ace - Jeep Ass Nigguh, and an early Jay-Z appearance on a song by a rather unknown R&B group (Rude Boys - My Kind of Girl). They're doing relaxed mixing and cool shoutoutd, not overdoing it, letting the music flow. Good tape. Also another tape with (roughly, circa) a date as tape name, so I can pinpoint these songs in time. Thanks for the latest tapes, Grime! So yeah, please post some more E Brothers, the only other tape of theirs I have (also from you, I think) is from 1990 or 1991, so it would be cool to hear some of their stuff in between 1990 and 1993, to see how they evolved over time, also tapes from after '93 - if you have and can. They did a cool song for the New Jersey Soundtrack, right? Maybe some of their tapes around '94, '95 has some exclusive songs of theirs?
