Ebay bootleg. Someone asked me why I label some tapes as an Ebay bootleg. They are tapes that have been copied recently to sell on ebay.
You can tell because -
1) the paper cover is new
2) they cover the tape with fake stickers
3) they are selling multiple copies of the same tape
You have a point with what you are saying in the post, but you do know that in NYC master tapes where sold to vendors and they produced many copies of the tapes (I realize that is not what is happening here). It is possible that the organization making these copies are a vendor from the past. So yes your right, in a sense it is a bootleg, but on the other hand all of these tapes are bootlegs.
