Tapes coming soon

Hi m8s

Tapes coming soon, hopefully have new content before May.

Thanks to past donators (I'll check I've credited everyone) thanks to people still sharing tapes. As always thanks to Chris French for helping me and the site out. Very little could have been done without his help.

Thanks for nothing to the following people -
The new mixtape sites using content from here with no credit (link to the website) and MixtapeClassics (on Instagram) aka DJ Messiah, aka https://theboogievault.myshopify.com .

He's taken loads of mixtapes from here and is selling them on USB. Obviously telling people that he freely downloaded them from here is bad for his business model.

People doing shitty things like that just kill my interest in sharing tapes. I could write more on this topic but what's the point? Remember don't give mixtapeclassics aka DJ Messiah any of your hard earned cash

  1. OK, Looking forward to your return. Sucks when people take your stuff and sell it. That's low.. Cheers!

  4. Hope you're good man. Emailed you a while back about Hip HopR adio Archive.

That Messiah guy is selling a bunch of my rips too. Shady as fuck. Guess the only thing to do is put word out that everything on there is freely available elsewhere.

  5. I just messaged him through his site:

Selling rips you've got from other people's sites and not even bothering to mention or credit them is shady as fuck. People put time and effort into finding, ripping and sharing these tapes for free so for some broke as fuck leeching bootlegger bitch to take advantage of all that doesn't do anyone any favours, it just deters people from putting shit out there in the first place so no one wins.
The fact you can't offer any guarantee of quality is one thing, but these mixes aren't yours (or mine) to sell.

The rap internet ain't that big. Myself and others will be doing our bit to let people know not to buy from you and that the tapes you're selling are mostly freely available elsewhere. Don't be surprised if a few DJs get in touch with you - I know Tony Touch is selling his own mixes so probably won't be too happy with what you're doing.

Appreciate your concern, however i do not sell rips from other than rips I’ve made with tapes from my own collection.

I also spend a lot of money and time sourcing tapes which are nowhere to be found on the internet.

I also spend a lot of time ripping and cleaning these mixes up.

I also save a lot of people money, for example I source a rare tape for $150-250 for just a single tape, rip it and offer it on collections for a fraction of the cost.

Many of the DJ’s have purchased their own collections from me, and thanked me for it.

I’ve also been apart of the Mixtape business my entire life. Ran distribution and several stores for many years.

I also broke bread with many of the DJ’s, purchased masters many years ago etc.

Thank you for your assumptions, god bless.
