Afrika Bambaata, Jazzy Jay, Mc Bug Out, Zulu Nation, Cold Crush 4 - T Connection 1980

Side A
Side B

Whenever I post old tapes like this, I wonder if I should bother - Dutch @ Old School Hip Hop Tapes has amassed a huge collection, and I don't bother to cross reference what I post with what he has. Also in two minds about posting Afrika Bambaata material. We all have our own opinions of course, and news about the allegations surrounding him has seemingly died down for now. What's your opinion? All libellous comments welcomed in the chatbox!

  1. Im sure I recognise this just from the names, before listenng, but dont sweat the duplication fella, each one teach one an all that. And the more options, the more heads hear these gems.

Bam was a pioneer. But Bam was 'up to something' at that time in the 90s when his actions would get whispered about. We joked that he was a kiddy fiddler in the same way most people were suspicious of, and judged Jimmy Saville, but what could we do? So, back then, all us old school heads kinda knew wtf was goin on. But with no evidence, what could we do ?

That shouldnt stop ya postin that dope shit dooks, to paraphrase Mr James Brown, KEEP KEEPIN ON !!

    #notmetoo thankfeck !
